Driver license requirements?
You will need a current valid driver’s license from your home state and you must be 25 years old or older.
Do I need special insurance?
Yes, you must provide a single page insurance binder from your insurance agent. These are usually provided from your agent without a fee. Spitler, Inc. would be listed as payee and any collision or comprehensive deductible shall not exceed $500. Another option is purchasing insurance online at the time of RV rental pick up. For less than $22 per day, this insurance will cover all drivers.
What happens if I break down?
Spitler RV rents only new motorhomes so the likelihood of a breakdown is rare. However, you are covered by Spitler’s Nationwide Roadside Assistance Plan. This plan includes towing, substitute transportation, travel expenses and more. You will be given a toll-free number and have 24/7/365 claim assistance.
When to make a reservation?
As soon as possible,
when you make a reservation, you can relax with the knowledge
that you will have a beautiful trip in a first class motor home.
Travel when you want, go where you want, and see what you want.
You can have it all in a very comfortable life style that few
people ever get to enjoy! If you have to cancel, give us proper
notice in advance and we will be happy to give you a refund.
What size should I rent?
Most renters will ask
for a small unit but wish that they had rented the next size up
when they return. All the units are equipped with generators,
air conditioners, microwave ovens, refrigerator & freezer, awning,
full bath, and many more extras.
Are there any off-season rates or packages?
RVing is a
year round activity, just ask a Pennsylvania Snowbird. Many people
use their RV as a home away from home during the cold northern
winters when they pack up and head south to the warmer climate.
However, there is definitely a busy RV season therefore there
are discounted off season rental rates. In addition, Spitler offers
package rates to some of the most
popular American destinations.

| Where can we go with a motorhome? |
Just about
anywhere but here are some helpful suggestions...
- For a three-day rental or more you can take
a motor home to many sporting events, Nascar races, Penn State
football games and sporting championships.
- If you have a long weekend and you want to
do something different, why not travel to New York to enjoy
the wineries or spend a long weekend at Niagara Falls.
- Choose our popular 5-day rental and you can
travel to an amusement park in New York, New Jersey, Ohio, or
Delaware.
- If you and your family love the beach, it is
only a short drive away and with the many camping facilities
available you can enjoy a splendid vacation in the sun.
- For a one or two week rental you can go west
and see the wonders of the Grand Canyon and the sights of Yellowstone
National Park or the Great Salt Lake.
- For an extended vacation make California your
destination, you won't want to miss Fisherman's Wharf in San
Francisco, Disneyland and Universal Studios in Los Angeles.
From there if you travel north you can see beautiful Lake Tahoe
and continue to gamble in Reno.
- If the winter blahs are getting you down, why
not take a trip to Florida during the winter season. Go alone
or take the kids, this is one of our most popular destinations
